UnitedHealthcare® offers a wellness program to employers, which may be included with your health plan. To determine your eligibility, please check with your company's HR representative.

Adopting a healthier lifestyle is not only beneficial, but it also has its rewards. UnitedHealthcare Motion® provides three daily walking goals and offers financial incentives for achieving them.

Our walking goals are designed with the aim of promoting health and wellness. While achieving a high daily step count is important, it's equally crucial to embrace our "FIT" goals. These goals emphasize moving with Frequency, Intensity, and Tenacity every day, ensuring maximum health benefits from walking.

Did you know that even a one-hour workout may not be sufficient to reduce health risk factors if you spend the majority of your day sitting? In "Get Up!", Dr. James Levine, a professor of medicine at the Mayo Clinic, highlights that for every hour spent sitting, we lose two hours of life. Let Motion encourage you to take frequent breaks with short walks throughout the day.

When it comes to motivation, financial incentives can be highly effective. UnitedHealthcare Motion provides an opportunity to earn over $1,000 per plan year towards out-of-pocket medical expenses simply by doing something you may already do - walking. You have the flexibility to earn rewards for one, two, or all three goals each day. Your earnings will be deposited quarterly into an HRA or HSA account, as applicable.

HEALTH APP DATA

With your permission, the UHC Motion app reads data from the Health App specific to your exercise or workout activities for the day. This data is utilized by our app to offer you additional options for achieving your health and wellness goals.
